Anand Tomar has joined Theobroma as Chief Technology Officer, taking charge of the company’s technology function as the bakery and patisserie brand continues to scale its operations. Anand brings over a decade of technology leadership experience across the FMCG, food and beverage, and retail sectors. Before joining Theobroma, he served as Chief Information Officer at Allied Blenders & Distillers, where he led the company’s technology and IT agenda. Earlier, Anand was Head of Information Technology at McDonald’s, following more than six years with Marico as Technology Lead. His experience spans technology strategy, enterprise IT, SAP, process optimisation, cloud, information security, automation and digital transformation. At Theobroma, Anand will focus on strengthening the company’s technology strategy and digital initiatives, supporting scalable operations and continued business growth.
