BEML Delivers Vital Alloy Structures for ISRO’s LVM-3 Rocket

BEML, a prominent Public Sector Undertaking, has successfully delivered essential light alloy structures for ISRO’s LVM-3 launch vehicle program. The structures were officially handed over to the Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), ISRO's premier rocket building center.

This achievement highlights the strong partnership between BEML and ISRO. BEML's Aerospace division has consistently delivered high-quality components, including retro motor casings for the PSLV in 2018 and the strap-on base shroud structure for LVM-3 in 2023.

To support these important projects, BEML has established a state-of-the-art aerospace hangar at its Bengaluru Complex, equipped with advanced jigs, fixtures, and metrology instruments necessary for fabricating light alloy structures. The company has also developed specialized technical skills for precision machining and surface treatment of components.

BEML CMD Shantanu Roy expressed pride in this accomplishment and acknowledged the seamless support from VSSC, emphasizing BEML's commitment to delivering all seven types of structures on schedule.
